UpdateI feel like a bear finally coming out of hibernation.
It has been a very long winter, I still feel it will never end.
The terrible whether has been effecting school, delayed graduation, so much homework. I thought senior year was supposed to be easy going.
Out of everything, it has put a huge damper on my creative spirit and motivation the most.
The little I have done, I would like to update about.
All of my projects have only been for school recently, because, duh, that’s required.
My teacher started us on a weekly project where every Friday/week me must take a 'selfie'.
You can see my progress on my flickr:
The last big project I did for school was an independent project. We were assigned to do whatever we wanted with any kind of photography. I really love portraits and I wanted to use a backdrop and studio lights for the first time. So I found a couple of friends/girls that volu
Computer TroublesI'm having computer troubles right now, so that has been the reason for my lack of activity.
I'm trying to get it fixed, if not it will a long process of getting a new one..
I'm looking forward to getting back on track on here and posting a bunch of new stuff.
As for my Caturday feature, I will be calling it quits for awhile. When I can get a chance I will make the last final feature and more points will up for grabs.
Hope to be back soon
Happy Valentine's Day!Happy Valentine's Day to all my watchers
I hope you all had a fabulous day!
I took pictures of my best friend and her boyfriend yesterday and it was really nice!
Looking forward to not waking up early in the morning tomorrow.
This week has been the first full week of school I have had since December.
Updates on what I have been up to are coming soon!
And I'm postponing Caturday until next week, my apologies

Instax Mini 8 ReviewThe FugiFilm Instax Mini 8 is a fun and cute instant film camera. It’s easy to use, push a button to turn on/pop out the lens and with a press of the shutter; your memories develop right before your eyes.
The mini 8 is extremely light weight and comes in an option of colors: white, black, pastel pink, blue and yellow. I chose the white because for some odd reason white was the cheapest (white was $54 versus the blue which was $80 on Amazon? Same features, just color difference).
It’s dimensions are about 4.5in x 4.8in x2.7in.
What came with the camera, was obviously the camera itself, am attachable wrist strap, two AA/alkaline batteries, and directions included with English. Film does not come with the camera. I had to order it separately, I purchased a two pack with was about $13 dollars.
Each film pack comes with a 10 pieces of film. The film size is comparable to a credit card.
The film has white boarders, but Fujifilm does make all ki
Inspiration-less to the maxRight now, I believe winter has completely ruined me.
For months and months I have been lacking so much energy and creative thinking.
Especially in my photography.
I have missed so much school from all this freaking snow. I can't go anywhere because I live out in the middle of no where and my drive way is blocked.
Everything is just so boring to me.
I can't concentrate in school, I'm half-assing everything I do.
So, you win winter.
You have compete stripped me of y creative energy and you are now my least favorite season. EVER.
Your coldness makes me put my camera down, makes me not want to even pick it up.
You are ugly.
You have cancelled yet another day of school for me. School where the only reason I go is to go to Photo class to get my creative juices flowing and spark whatever fumes are left in my desire to create.
A big middle finger to you winter.
I can't wait for spring.
Instanx Mini 8 is here!It came in the mail today and I was so thrilled.
So far I love it and its so fun.
I'll be writing a review about it later

That's how you get pageviewsAnd here you have the number one question that people ask me:
"How the hell did you get so many people to view your art? You're not even that good!"
I can't do anything other than honestly admitting that I'm not that good at art. I'm not some awesomely skilled concept artist, at least. I've seen many people do a better job while receiving a lot less of attention.
Why a medium like DeviantArt works for me? Probably because I've been around on the internet for so long, and I've spend so much time working for internet-marketing company's, that things like advertising and web usability have become a second nature to me. A lot of the things that I've come to regard as common sense in internet communication, are things that are nowadays proven successful by research.
It's important to know that websites like DeviantArt are listed in the category social media. That probably didn't occur to most people, since DeviantArt seems to be so heavily focused towards art (and tradi
How to get feedback on dAWe all joined this site, more or less for this reason, to get feedback on our art. The whole point of submitting art online is for people to see it and hear what they think about it.
Now there are a lot of deviants out there who get little to no feedback and as a result ask the people who faved their art to comment or go to random people on dA and ask for them to look at their art or comment in the hopes that the person will be kind enough to return the favor.
A message to the people who do that, you're doing it all wrong.
Sure, if you ask 20 people who faved your drawing what they thought about it, you might get 1 or 2 answers, but in return, you'll be ignored by say 10 people and you'll annoy 8 people. I get these comments and i'm telling you, begging for feedback is not the way to go, if someone didn't comment when they fave, what makes you think forcing their hand is the right way to go?
A fav is a compliment, take it a it is. Not everyone has

PE: How to Make Pixel CloudsHow to Make Pixel Clouds
In this tutorial, I will be showing you how to make pixel clouds. I have two different types of clouds I use depending on the piece; semi-realistic, and cartoon style. I will be showing you both today!
Let us start!
The semi realistic style can be done two ways, depending on if you are limiting colors or not.
First, I'm going to show you the way for if you do not care how many colors you use.
First you will pull out your pencil brush, as you would normally do when making pixel art, and set the color to white. After that, set the opacity to around 10%-20%.
Randomly brush side to side with the pencil, and then overlap some lines randomly as well.
Keep doing that until the cloud if about as big as you need it; it should look something like this.c:

Kiriban at 1.000.000 - CaughtIt's as simple as it gets;
Catch my 1.000.000th pageview and get a free head-shot sketch from your character (or any character that you like).
(Screenshot needs to be fullscreen and send to me by private message)
The kiriban is caught.
Anyone bother to explain me how it is possible that 2 people caught the exact same thing on screenshot???
After hearing from multiple people having experience with more than 1 guy catching their kiriban, I can only come to the conclusion that it's reasonable.
DA's counter is probably flawed, in the sense that it only counts an IP once. Which would lead people that spend hours refreshing my page, being able to keep track of the pageviews without actually influencing themselves. It's still kind of weird to think that kind of thing actually happens and people are

Olympia: Manet's Biggest ScandalÉdouard Manet (1832-1883), a French painter who is sometimes considered one of the founders of the style of impressionism, caused quite a few scandals throughout his career.
Many of these scandals came into being because of the subject matter which he chose to portray in his paintings. Additionally, there were many critics who found fault in his painting style. Surprisingly, despite the sometimes violent reactions to his works, what Manet was really seeking throughout his painting career was official recognition as a great artist of his time.
At a young age, Manet found in his father an extreme opposition to his desired career as an artist. His father was a magistrate who thought that Manet should choose a “recognized” profession. Attempting to appease his father, Manet tried and fai
